About Dublin
Like many parts of Ohio, Dublin’s first inhabitants were Native Americans—specifically the Hopewell, Adenas, Delaware, Shawnee and Wyandot tribes. Situated on the banks of the Scioto River, the land now known as Dublin was important for trade and travel among those early settlers.
Present-day Dublin is located about 10 miles northwest of Columbus. It is home to events like the annual Dublin Irish Festival as well as the internationally-recognized golf event, the Memorial Tournament. To accommodate thousands of out-of-towners each summer, Dublin has great dining and entertainment venues that residents have the opportunity to enjoy all year.
Dublin Ohio real estate is prime for many individuals working at companies like Nationwide, Cardinal Health, Qwest Communications, Wendy’s, OSI Collection Services, and the Online Computer Library Center. As companies in that region expand, so does the vibrant Dublin population. Many individuals relocating to Columbus search for homes for sale in Dublin Ohio because of its close proximity to these major corporations. |
